Jean Pasternak has gained an extensive experience in the Energy & Infrastructure sector across Europe and Asia in the last 15 years.

- Strategy. As a consultant and then a corporate director, he has defined and reviewed many strategies for small and large businesses in China through identification of core–technology or commercial-competitive advantage and leverage alliances among carefully selected partners.

- Deal making. As former investment banker and, China head of Venture Capital and Mergers & Acquisitions, Jean has successfully lead various transactions in the 1-100MEur range.

Jean holds a Master of Engineering from Mines ParisTech and he is also a MBA graduate from INSEAD.

Jean is located in Beijing and supports Shanghaivest as an independent member of its Advisory Council.
