Bruno Bensaid

Bruno started working with several French VCs on expanding into China in 2006, and joined Ventech (a US$ 500-Mil Fund) as the "first China employee" in 2007. He then went on to set up Shanghaivest, an investment banking advisory firm focused on cross-border M&A and private placement transactions between Europe and China. On the non-profit side: Bruno founded the Shanghai Chapter of MobileMonday (a mobile industry community) in 2006 and joined the Steering Committee of AngelVest, a pioneering China-based angel investment organization in 2010. Bruno shares his time between Europe and China, and is a regular speaker and moderator at technology and investment conferences. Yanmin is a Sr Analyst at Shanghaivest, and in charge of liaison with the Chinese clients of Shanghaivest. Wang Yanmin has more than 9 years multicultural work experience in semi-conductors, consumer electronics and in the financial industry. Prior to joining Shanghaivest in 2009, Yanmin had Asia-wide responsibilities with Philips Consumer Electronics and with STMicroelectronics. Phil started his career in finance and IT positions in subsidiaries of companies like Vinci or Electrolux, mainly in construction and retail (BtoB and BtoC), mostly in charge of organisational projects, then join SEGA to be responsible of Southern Europe territories for the mobile gaming business unit based in London.Since 2007, Phil is developing lobbying activities for European companies interested to develop their activities with tech leaders in Silicon Valley. Phil writes chronicles about the startup ecosystem in Silicon Valley several french online magazines.
